This is the very first campaign I worked on, as part of the American Advertising Federation’s “College World Series of Advertising.” This campaign won at both regional and state levels, and competed at the national level.
Our client was Kodak and we were asked to create a comprehensive campaign targeted at college students for single use cameras. We performed market research and developed creative, as well as media and public relations plans. I was part of the creative team that developed the tagline “because college is a limited time offer” and “don’t let your memories fade away.”
This was a concept for on-campus chalk drawings based on college-themed photos. The line “don’t let your memories fade away” would be illustrated as the drawings faded and smudged. And yes, that is me next to Oski. Go Bears!
These print ads were in support of proposed on-campus photography workshops.
